Yorkshire Terrier

Yorkshire Terriers have been part of my life for many years now, and I can’t imagine being without them. Not only are they part of my life, but true companions and friends.

At birth, the Yorkie’s coat is black and tan, but that changes as the pup grows up.

Yorkies love excitement, it doesn’t take much coaxing to get them interested in doing fun things. They are small and have a lot of energy. They are non-shedding.

A Yorkshire Terrier can have most of its needs met through indoor play, but still prefers a daily walk or romp in a fence-in yard. Yorkshire Terriers are well suited for apartment life.

The Yorkshire Terrier is one of the most delightful breeds to own, and it isn’t unusual for people to have two. If seems that one is not enough, the women of the house want a small lap dog, and who ends up with the dog at her side, the better half. So the ‘his’ and ‘her’ sweaters are back in style by way of the Yorkshire Terrier.
